What is fire stopping, exactly?
Fire stopping seals the gaps where pipes, conduit, cable, and ductwork pass through a fire-rated wall or floor. Without a proper seal, that opening is a weak point where fire and smoke can spread -- the wall's fire rating doesn't mean much if the penetrations through it aren't sealed correctly.
What areas do you serve?
Charlotte, NC; Charleston, SC; and the Dallas-Fort Worth/Arlington, TX metro.
Do you work on existing buildings, or only new construction?
Both. New builds and existing commercial buildings -- including retrofits where penetrations were never sealed correctly in the first place.
What systems do you install?
Wall penetrations, floor penetrations, top-of-wall assemblies, firecaulking, and spray-applied fireproofing on structural steel -- see the Systems section on the home page for details on each.
Will my installation pass inspection?
Every installation is built around the applicable code requirements from the start using UL tested systems, so it's ready when the inspector shows up -- not patched together after the fact.
How do I get a bid?
Use the Request a Bid page and send over your project details -- location, scope, and timeline. The team will follow up from there.
